Motus is an AI-powered macOS execution engine. Because its capabilities may use your microphone, screen, files, applications, terminal, calendar, browser, and connected tools, this policy outlines our strict privacy protections and on-device boundaries.

2. Summary of Practices
- No Selling of Data: We do not sell personal information or share data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- No Model Training: We do NOT use your private voice recordings, screen captures, file contents, or prompts to train general-purpose AI models.
- On-Device Permissions: All microphone, screen recording, and accessibility permissions remain entirely under your control and can be revoked at any time via macOS System Settings.
- Visual Indicators: Motus displays visible UI animations whenever audio recording or screen context capture is actively taking place.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Account & Authentication Data
Name, email address, password hash, and 6-digit OTP verification codes.
3.2 Voice & Audio Commands
Microphone audio processed via local voice activity detection (VAD) and converted to text via encrypted Whisper API. Audio is discarded immediately after transcription.
3.3 Screen & Accessibility Context
When vision tasks are invoked, display screenshots and accessibility element coordinates are captured ephemerally to resolve buttons and UI controls.
3.4 Files & Task Operations
File metadata and contents specifically requested during file organization, code inspection, or desktop cleanup operations.
3.5 Payment & Billing Information
Payment processing is handled directly by Stripe. Motus stores only subscription tier, credit balances, transaction IDs, and renewal dates.

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA), EU/UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to access, rectify, port, or erase your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time.

7. Security Protections
We employ TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, strict least-privilege IPC boundaries in Electron, and automated vulnerability scanning.
